Baseball in Beloit, WisconsinOverviewThe record of the Midwest League franchise in Beloit, Wisconsin. Beloit was affiliated with the Brewers for the team's first 23 seasons. The parent club was kind to them; year after year the team was competitive, and Prince Fielder was the last of a succession of strong Milwaukee-farmhand hitters. While Milwaukee sent some very good pitchers, no Beloit pitcher's been truly overwhelming. Beloit's most important contribution to our league has clearly been long-time MWL President George Spelius. |
