Alliant Energy Field

originally Riverview Stadium

Alliant Energy Field (formerly Riverview Stadium) has hosted the Clinton franchise of the Midwest League since the team joined MWL predecessor Mississippi-Ohio Valley League in 1954. The facility was new in 1937, and had a significant reconstruction before the 2006 season. The name change took effect on March 15, 2002.

Park Effects

The STATS 1998 Minor League Handbook indicates that Riverview Stadium (now Alliant Energy Field) is very neutral to the overall pitcher/batter duel. Power hitters are handicapped, and strikeout totals here are high. (4 years' data.)
