Baseball in MattoonMattoon Baseball Parkaka Mattoon Ball ParkMattoon Baseball Park hosted Mattoon's ISL, MOVL, and MWL teams from 1947 through 1957. I have little information about this park. Although Mattoon is full of ballyards, this one was apparently demolished shortly after its last minor league game. (If you know more about this park, please Drop me a line. Thanks.) I'm led to believe that this was the park's location. The structure on the west side of the scrap yard may be the remnant of the third base grandstand.
