  • Drafted/Signed: Yankees, fourth round, 1974 (catcher, Santa Monica HS)
  • Professional Career: Seven minor league seasons, mostly in the low minors, split between the Yankees and Brewers organizations.
  • Midwest League: Played for Burlington in 1978 and 1980.

Management style

Bevington's always been a fairly conventional manager. And he's been fairly successful.

The Midwest League plays Single-A, professional baseball in America's agricultural and industrial heartland. 16 teams play a 140 game schedule which begins in early April and ends Labor Day weekend.
