Midwest League Managers

Keith Bodie

One Midwest League season:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Mets, 1974, third round (Outfielder, South Shore HS [Brooklyn, NY])
  • Professional Career: Ten minor league seasons, mostly at the Double-A level, plus a brief stint in 1985.
  • Midwest League: Played for Wausau in 1976.

Management style

Bodie's teams have usually been fairly aggressive; bunts are more common than usual, and the baserunners are usually permitted to run at every opportunity. He's a bit less likely to pull a pitcher than most, and his teams usually issue a lot intentional passes.
