Midwest League Managers

Mike Bucci

One Midwest League season:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Texas Rangers, 1975, 16th round (Outfielder, West Chester University).
  • Professional Career: 9 minor league seasons, mostly in the Texas organization and usually in the Pacific Coast League.
  • Midwest League: Played for Wausau in 1983, and appeared in one game at Burlington while he was their manager.

Management style

Bucci was a "little game" manager; his teams bunted and ran wild on the basepaths.

Note: Mike's put on baseball clinics (RBI Baseball Academy) since his retirement from the professional game, including many as part of a Phillies outreach program.
