Midwest League Managers

Craig Colbert

One Midwest League season:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Giants, 20th round, 1986 (Third baseman, Oral Roberts University)
  • Professional Career: Thirteen minor league seasons, mainly in the Pacific Coast League. Played parts of two seasons in San Francisco.
  • Midwest League: Played at Clinton in 1986 and 1988.

Management style

Colbert is pretty extreme about complete games and stolen bases--on the evidence, he doesn't like either--but is otherwise a fairly conventional manager.
