Midwest League Managers

Mark DeJohn

One Midwest League season:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Mets, 1971, 23rd round (Third baseman, Wilson HS [Middleton, CT])
  • Professional Career: Thirteen minor league seasons, mostly at the Triple-A level, in the Mets and Tigers organizations. Appeared in 24 games for Detroit in 1982.
  • Midwest League: Never played in the Midwest League.

Management style

DeJohn's teams have usually been pretty aggressive on the basepaths, and he's more likely than most to call for a sacrifice bunt.
