Midwest League Managers

Joe Hall

One Midwest League season:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Cardinals, 10th Round, 1988
  • Professional Career: 12 seasons; mostly at the AAA level. Appeared in 26 major league games with the White Sox and Tigers.
  • Midwest League: Played for Springfield in 1988 and rehabbed at South Bend in 1994.

Management style

Hall was a very aggressive manager. His hitters ran pretty much at will--and ran quite well. He often called for bunts; he rarely called for intentional walks.
