Midwest League Managers

Jim Horner

Jim Horner

Two MWL seasons:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Signed by the Mariners as a non-drafted free agent from Washington State University in 1996.
  • Professional Career: Nine years in the Mariners organization, largely at Tacoma.
  • Midwest League: Played for Wisconsin in 1997.

Management style

Horner has not yet shown any particular managerial tendencies. His 2008 team ran bases far better than his earlier efforts.
