Midwest League Managers

Jim Lett

Two Midwest League seasons:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Free agent, Reds, 1973 (infielder, University of Kentucky).
  • Professional Career: Played three years in the Reds system, including one year at Three Rivers in the Eastern League.
  • Midwest League: Never played in the Midwest League.

Management style

The teams Lett managed had two really obvious characteristics: They ran the bases intelligently, and they bunted more than any other team in the league.
