Midwest League Managers

Jose Marzan

Two Midwest League seasons:

Playing Career

  • Signed: Minnesota, 16th round, 1987 (IF/OF, Florida State University).
  • Professional Career: 5 minor league seasons in the Twins system; two at the Double-A level.
  • Midwest League: Played for Kenosha in 1987 and 1988.

Management style

In his early years, Marzan was an extremely conservative manager. Beginning with his Quad City summer, he's been pretty likely to call for bunts and intentional passes. He's never let a team run wild.
