Midwest League Managers

Jim Napier

Three Midwest League seasons:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: White Sox, free agent, 1958
  • Professional Career: Fourteen professional seasons, almost entirely in the White Sox system, largely at the Triple-A level.
  • Midwest League: Played for Dubuque in 1958.

Management style

Napier called for quite a few bunts, and was pretty aggressive on the basepaths if his talent supported it.
