Midwest League Managers

Al Pedrique

Two Midwest League seasons:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Mets, free agent, 1978
  • Professional Career: Seventeen professional seasons, largely in the high minors. Appeared in 174 major league games with the Mets, Pirates, and Tigers.
  • Midwest League: Never played in the Midwest League.

Management style

Pedrique's a pretty conservative manager, tactically; he rarely calls for intentional walks, tends to control his baserunners, and isn't particularly likely to call for a bunt.
