Midwest League Managers

Dan Simonds

Three Midwest League seasons:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Orioles, seventh round, 1987 (catcher, Davidson College)
  • Professional Career: Five minor league seasons, predominantly in the low minors, with the Orioles and the Cubs.
  • Midwest League: Played for Peoria in 1990.

Management style

Simond's Fort Wayne team was super-aggressive on the basepaths. Except for that, he seems to have been pretty conventional during his professional managing career.
