Midwest League Managers

Carlos Subero

Three Midwest League seasons:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Kansas City Royals, free agent, 1991.
  • Professional Career: 5 seasons in the low minors, mainly in the Royals system. Played in Indy ball for one summer.
  • Midwest League: Played for Rockford in 1994.

Management style

Carlos Subero lets few pitchers complete games but is mostly fairly conventional. His teams used to be outrageously successful on the basepaths, but his success rate fell to normal during his MWL stay.
