Midwest League Managers

Tim Tolman

One Midwest League season:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Astros, 12th Round, 1978 (Outfielder, Southern Cal)
  • Professional Career: 13 seasons; 7 in the majors with the Astros and Tigers, mostly split seasons with significant Triple-A time.
  • Midwest League: Never played in the Midwest League.

Management style

When Tolman was managing, his teams issued quite a few intentional passes, were fairly likely to bunt, and were decidely unsuccessful on the basepaths.
