Midwest League Managers

Gary Varsho

Two Midwest League seasons:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Cubs, 5th Round, 1982 (Second baseman, University of Wisconsin/Oshkosh)
  • Professional Career: Fourteen professional seasons, just over half of them as a spare outfielder with several National League teams.
  • Midwest League: Played at Quad Cities in 1982.

Management style

Except that he rather liked the bunt, Varsho was a conventional minor league manager.
