The 1999 Midwest League All-Star Game was played at Lansing's Oldsmobile Park on Tuesday, June 22. The West won; 14 pitchers threw a one-hitter at the Eastern hitters. This was a remarkable, amazing, and delightful game.

The Midwest League plays Single-A, professional baseball in America's agricultural and industrial heartland. 16 teams play a 140 game schedule which begins in early April and ends Labor Day weekend.
