Where they played last season

This is a brief portrait of how the team was put together. These summaries are based on the team's opening day roster and will not be revised to reflect roster changes.

This year's Bandits are mainly players who played in Quad City or Elizabethton last summer. Those were good teams; this squad seems to have a good base.

Team League W/L Place Hitters Pitchers
                                         (Teams)
Fort Myers Florida State (A+) 60/79 13(14) 1 2
Quad City Midwest (A) 77/62 2(14) 4 6
Elizabethton Appalachian (R+) 40/30 4(10) 7 4
Twins Gulf Coast (R) 33/26 3(14) 1 3

There was only slight movement in the Twins system last season, though one new Bandit had stints on three teams (including, briefly, Double-A ball). Four of these players did not play professionally last summer (2 injuries; 2 college players).
